Sole Sisters
So right now I'm on a committee for an upcoming women's event. I'm really looking forward to it. However, in my drunken stupor (though neither "drunk" nor, um..."stupor"), I I decided to sing a song for it. It's a song written by a friend in Mt. Pleasant. It's a great song, but I just realized what exactly goes into it. Being a funny song, I need to be, well...funny. I have ideas on what I can do, but I'm a bit scared on how others will think of it. The song is funny in itself, but what if I don't do the right actions to make it funny? What if the introduction leaves the crowd with blank faces? Don't get me wrong, somewhere deep, deep inside I'm excited to do this. It's just that....I have never sang in front of a crowd! I joke with my friends with a quote I often say, " Well, I can't be funny all the time". But, in fact, I should be funny. So, with my head held high, I will try my hardest to live up to my friend's humor and make people laugh. If I have to make a fool out of myself in the process, so be it.
